Who We Are (or the Smart Girls Manifesto)

We are not too smart for our own good.

We don't try to down play our smarts to make you look better.

We aren't just book smart. It's not about memorization or test taking. It's not about random fact recital.

Smart Girls don't think feminism means standing up for our right to wear Girl Power baby tees while knitting a book cozy for the latest chick lit lamentation on love and fashion in the time global disaffection.

We are girls who refuse to smile to please you.
